WORLDMUSE - International Cabaret of Music, Dance,
and Spoken Word from Argentina to Senegal

New
York. N.Y. -- Worldmuse, a marathon performance
event featuring music, dance, and storytelling
from a wide span of countries, will take place
in a cabaret setting on Thursday, March 22, at
8 p.m., in the lower level of McIntosh Student
Center. The performers will be students and friends
of Barnard and Columbia. There will also be an
open mike at the end of the evening.
The event is directed by Jane McMahan, adjunct
professor, Barnard Music Department, produced
by Christina Kuan Tsu, assistant dean, Office
of the Dean of Studies, and Barnard student Shana
Bromberg '04. The event set design is by Bruce
Yao, graduate student at the Columbia School of
Architecture. The performances are accompanied
by José Maria Garcia Leon on the piano.
The
event is sponsored by the Office for Multicultural
Affairs, CORRIE, the Music Department, Office
of the President, Office of the Provost, McIntosh
Activities Council, Liberty Office, HEOP, Dean
of the College, Office of the Dean of Studies,
College Activities Office, Student Government
