Department of Economics cordially invite you
to a public lecture by Professor Robert M. Solow,
Institute Professor and Professor of Economics
Emeritus at MIT, 1987 Nobel Laureate in Economics,
and Russell Sage Foundation Scholar. As the
Alena Wels Hirschorn Visiting Professor, Professor
Solow will be in residence at Barnard College
during the week of April 15.
In addition to his public lecture, Professor
Solow will deliver a lecture to Barnard students
on April 16, 12 p.m., titled What Ever Happened
to the Budget Surplus? It will be held in
405 Milbank Hall. Solow will also participate
in the Department of Economics Introductory
and Intermediate Macroeconomics courses.
