Alumna Beverly Weintraub ’82, a member of the editorial board of the New York Daily News, has won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for journalism. Weintraub shares this year’s prize for distinguished editorial writing with her Daily News colleagues Arthur Browne and Heidi Evans. In its announcement, the Pulitzer Board praises the three journalists for “their compassionate and compelling editorials on behalf of Ground Zero workers whose health problems were neglected by the city and the nation.”
