Atoosa Rubenstein '93 Receives Inspiration Award from Step Up Women's Network
On June 7, 2007, Barnard alumna Atoosa Rubenstein '93 will receive the Inspiration Award from Step Up Women's Network, a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to strengthening community resources for women and girls. Rubenstein, who recently established a new multimedia venture called Big Momma Productions, was the acclaimed creator and editor-in-chief of CosmoGIRL! before becoming the editor-in-chief of Seventeen magazine. Step Up is honoring Rubenstein for her visionary entrepreneurship and her passionate efforts to empower women and girls.
