THE BARNARD-COLUMBIA CHORUS TO PERFORM IN ANNUAL COLUMBIA CANDLELIGHT CONCERTS DEC 6 AND 7

New York, NY, November 19, 2002—The Barnard-Columbia Chorus will perform at the annual Columbia Candlelight Concerts, December 6 and 7, at 8 p.m., in St. Paul’s Chapel on the Columbia University campus. The chorus is directed by Gail Archer, a lecturer in the Music department of Barnard College.

The festive performance will feature Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, Four Songs by Johannes Brahms, and the Lutheran Mass in the A Major BWV 234 by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Tickets are $10 general admission and $5 with a CUID and may be purchased by calling the Miller Theatre Box Office at (212) 854-7799. Tickets may also be bought from chorus members or at the door on the evening of the performance.
