The Barnard-Columbia Chorus Performs at the Annual Columbia Candlelight Concerts, December 5 and 6

New York, NY, November 25, 2003 – The annual Columbia Candlelight Concerts, featuring the Barnard-Columbia Chorus, will be held on December 5th and 6th, at 8 p.m. in St. Paul’s Chapel at Columbia University.

This year’s program includes Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cantata 110, Igor Stravinsky’s Four Russian Peasant Songs and Symphony of Psalms, Maurice Durufle's Tota pulchra es, and Ralph Vaughn Williams’ Gloucestershire Wassail.

The Barnard-Columbia Chorus is led by Gail Archer, director of the music program at Barnard and music director and organist at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Manhattan.

The tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 with CUID and are available for purchase at the Miller Theater box office beginning November 20, 2003. Tickets will also be available at the door the evening of the performances.
