The Barnard-Columbia Chorus Presents the Annual
Columbia Candlelight Concert at St. Paul's Chapel,
Columbia University, Dec. 8-9
New
York, N.Y. - The Barnard-Columbia Chorus will
perform the annual Columbia Candlelight Concert,
conducted by Gail Archer, Adjunct Organist, on
Thursday and Friday, Dec. 8-9, 2000, at 8:00 p.m., St.
Paul's Chapel, Columbia University. This year,
the program includes the Fifth Cantata of the
Christmas Oratorio by Johann Sebastian Bach and
the Te Deum by Jean-Baptiste Lully. Soloists are
Melissa Fogarty, soprano, Emily Eyres, alto, James
Mechalakos, tenor, and Hayes Biggs, bass. The
concert will be accompanied by members of the
Manhattan School of Music Orchestra.

admission is $10 and $5 with Columbia University
ID. Tickets may be purchased at the Miller Theatre
Box Office, (212) 854-7799, from members of the
chorus, or at the door.
