During the week of November 12-16, Barnard’s Office of International Programs will celebrate International Education Week with more than a dozen events around campus. Students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate—see below for a full list of ways to get involved.
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, with a goal of promoting academic programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and that attract foreigners to study and learn in the United States.
Every day, staff from Barnard’s Office of International Programs will be outside Liz’s Place from 11 am-2 pm, available to answer questions about all of Barnard’s global initiatives from study abroad and the Visiting International Students Program, to overseas internship opportunities and the global symposia series.
Throughout the week, try a variety of international cuisines the Diana Café and Hewitt Dining Hall, and taste coffee from around the world at Liz’s Place.
