Department of Energy (DoE) Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI)

The Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program encourages undergraduate students and recent graduates (two years or less between receipt of degree and program start) to pursue STEM careers by providing research experiences at the Department of Energy (DoE) laboratories. Selected students participate as interns appointed at one of the participating DoE laboratories. They perform research, under the guidance of laboratory staff scientists or engineers, on projects supporting the DoE mission. Applications for the SULI program are solicited annually for three separate internship terms: Summer, Fall and Spring. Application deadlines vary by internship term: October (for following Spring term), January (for following Summer term), and May (for following Fall term).
