Constellation Pyxis

Johanna is a sophomore hoping to major in Psychology and have double minor in Economics and Sociology.  She is involved in the catering club, Purple, on campus and does elderly care as a part time job during the semester.  Over the 2012 summer she had the Guggenheim Fellowship and work at the Guardianship Project doing legal and case management work.  She is very environmentally conscious and during high school was very involved in her Environmental Club and had two internships, one at SUNY New Paltz and one at the DEC.  She hopes to join an Environmental Club at school during this year. She love animals; she have four cats and a Great Pyrenees dog.  She is from New Paltz, NY and enjoys hiking, tennis, cooking, hanging out with friends, travelling, painting, and really enjoying the many options Barnard presents to us during the semester.  She is a Vera Joseph Scholar at Barnard.  She has a very outgoing personality and is looking forward to a fantastic year as the Pyxis Constellation Leader!
