Student Testimonials

"Living in New York City is expensive. The Financial Fluency Program has equipped me with the knowledge and tools to face issues such as credit, investments, and savings more confidently. More importantly, it has reinforced the importance of consciously starting healthy financial habits early on."
Eskedar Getahun '06

"It was really nice to have a place where I could ask pretty much any question about finances and know that I would get an answer I could trust."
Rebecca Drejet '05

"The program eased many anxieties about graduating-finding an apartment, examining job offers, budgeting for the next few years. While we are all strong Barnard women, often we overlook the basics of healthy financial planning that will determine our future comfort. No detail was too small and no question too big in this program. I highly recommend it."

"I had a one-on-one office hour about creating a budget that would fit my personal needs and expenses. I realized how simple it is to create a budget; I also became more aware of my financial needs and expenses and how to handle them more responsibly."
