The Office of Disability Services (ODS) is a voluntary, confidential support service for Barnard students with both permanent as well as temporary or short-term disabilities. Founded in 1978 in response to Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, ODS provides administrative and academic advocacy and counseling in order to enhance the potential of students with disabilities.
