The Office of Disability Services (ODS) offers a unique and exciting assortment of workshops for students with learning disabilities (LD). At the beginning of each semester, we encourage all LD students registered with ODS to schedule brief twenty-minute check-in appointments with ODS LD Specialist Olga Hrycak (Okie) in order to discuss current disability-related needs. In many cases, LD students can find a great deal of support from regular campus-wide academic and non-academic support services such as the Tutoring Program coordinated by the Dean of Studies Office, HEOP’s study skills course "Barnard Success: No BS," yoga and relaxation courses taught by the Department of Physical Education, or the six-session Stress Management Course offered by the Student Health Services. With a great deal of input from many of our LD students, we have designed the following nine workshops for you.

Each workshop is designed to last one hour and location/date/time will be determined based on student registration and interest. If you would like to join a workshop, stop by or call us at 212/854-4634 to enroll now! We welcome any ideas and thoughts from LD students and all other members of the Barnard community for additional workshops which might be useful for our students.
