Departmental vs Document Services copying We encourage faculty and staff to use the departmental copiers for short run work and to submit longer jobs to Document Services. There is no additional charge for single stapling on any copier, but surcharges are added for booklet making, binding, cutting, folding, and manual operations.
Wide format and large poster printing Document Services can print in full color on stocks 36" wide and almost any length. For our standard heavyweight stock, we charge only $7.00 per linear foot. A 36" x 48" poster costs only $28.00.

Notes: 1The cost of 20# recycled white paper is approximately $.006 per sheet, but may vary throughout the year. Other paper stocks may be significantly higher. 2Departments that have their own (not shared) copier are charged for a base of 2400 copies per month, or $60.00 per month minimum, even when fewer copies are made. 3When calculating volume discounts for color copies, the discount applies to the number of copies requested; the number of original pages has no bearing on the discount. E.g., for 200 color copies (of one page), the first 10 copies are charged at $.30 each, the next 40 copies (11-50) are charged at $.20 each, and the rest (51-200) are charged at $.15 each. Paper costs are additional.
