Ricoh Copier Print Driver Installation for Windows XP Users
Part I: Minimal instructions for
basic installation
All the new Ricoh “copiers” at
Barnard are truly “multi-function printers” (mfp’s) that
copy, print, and scan. We encourage your use of these
mfp’s for printing. The quality will be better
if you print directly to the Ricoh
instead of printing on an inkjet or laserjet and then
making copies, since every print is an original. In
addition, you gain access to your mfp’s features (such as
duplexing, stapling, hole punching, etc.), and the overall
operating costs are generally lower than printing to an
inkjet or local HP printer.
Using the Web Based Driver
Installer (WBDI), we now have a simple way for Barnard
faculty and staff to
self-install
these printers on Windows XP computers.
