"The second course which was my afternoon class was Adolescent and Pediatric Health Psychology taught by Professor E'mett McCaskill. [This] was my favorite class in the program. Professor McCaskill was a brilliant teacher, who explained every lesson with care to her students. In this class, we were taught the many different reactions of children and adolescents with different diseases and how their families reacted towards them. We learned of children and adolescents with diseases of HIV/AIDS, diabetes, obesity, and drug addiction. We were all put into about four groups of five or six that would imagine being a family with different problems and once a week with a child that had a disease in which we studied beforehand."
