Weather Update

Due to the storm, Barnard College will close at 4pm today, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.  

Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information. 

Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed.  The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open.  For further updates on college operations, please check this website, call the College Emergency Information Line 212-854-1002 or check AM radio station 1010WINS.

ANN T DACHS

Director of the Pre-College Programs
Ann is the Director of Pre-College Programs at Barnard as well as a Senior Admissions Officer for the Barnard College Office of Admissions. She received her JD degree from Columbia Law School and is a Barnard alumna, class of ’81.

FRANK CIRIONI

Associate Director of Pre-College Programs
Frank earned his Master of Arts degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Arts Education from New York Institute of Technology. At Barnard, Frank serves as an Associate Director for Residential Life and Housing.

SAMANTHA GRECCO

Assistant to the Director

Samantha graduated from Barnard in May 2012 with a BA in Psychology. As a student, she worked at the Barnard Store, in the Barnard Center for Toddler Development, as a Transfer RA and was also a Tow Fellow.
 

CHRISTINE PETRIN

Office Assistant

Christine is a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Biology. She is the Editor-in-Chief of the Barnard Bulletin and teaches health education to NYC public school students. Christine attended the four week Pre-College Program in 2008. 

KELSEY KEPHART

Office Assistant

Kelsey is a junior at Barnard, and is a veteran on the Pre-College Program team, as well as a student tour guide (BSAR). She is an Anthropology major concentrating in Forensic Archeology. 

Kelsey is a sophomore at Barnard, and is the newest member of the Pre-College Program team! She is an Art History major with a concentration in the pre-health sciences. She looks forward to filing all of your forms and paperwork!
