Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. The Director of Disability Services (x44634), is the officer designated to oversee compliance with federal, state and city statutes, which prohibit discrimination in employment or education on the basis of disability.
Under the supervision of the Director of Student Health Services, the Director coordinates all services for students with disabilities and works with faculty and staff to assure the full participation of admitted students with disabilities in the life of the College.
The Office of Disability Services (ODS) maintains an extensive Resource Collection which includes print and non-print materials on a variety of disability and diversity-related topics. Officers of instruction are encouraged to contact ODS with any issues, concerns, or suggestions for improving policy development and service delivery.
