A CAR
In addition to the automobile rental agreement with National Rental (Corporate Discount #5205272) currently in effect under a separate arrangement with Columbia University, Barnard also has made agreements through E & I cooperative Services, Inc., which allow individuals and their spouses to rent vehicles at a discount for business and non-business use.

**There are two rental car options available through the Cooperative's Avis contract, including flat rates for Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Full-Size and Premium Car Classes, or 5-40% discounts off of the best rate available at the time of rental. Travelers between the ages of 18 and 25 must choose the Flat Rate, while travelers over the age of 25 have a choice between the two options.

The first program includes insurance with flat rental rate, including CDW $100/300/50 Supplemental Liability Protection. The second program is an 8% discount off of the best rate available at the time of rental. Although this program does not include insurance, it can be purchased for this program at time of rental. Both programs include unlimited mileage.

**Hertz offers a variety of vehicle classes, from compact to full-size, featuring quality Ford and Lincoln Mercury vehicles. E&I members can take advantage of discounts available through this contract, ranging from 5 to 20% off of the best rate available at the time of rental. All renters are required to meet Hertz's standard qualifications in effect at the time and place of rental, and must be 25 or older.
