To start a session on the Student email server, type this as the URL in your browser: ssh://eclipse.barnard.edu. You will need to download a secure client, such as SSH Secure Shell or Putty. SSH Secure Shell is available in eBear, in the My Tools tab, under Download. Putty is available through the CUIT software page. If you are using a Mac, the OS X terminal is inherently secure.
