Professor Minkoff’s
work focuses on the organizational dimensions of social movements
and political activism. One current project includes compiling a
database of national organizations that advocate for a broad range
of domestic issues (civil rights, feminist, peace, environmental,
pro-choice, pro-life, and others) in order to examine how activists
balance the demands of working within the system with a desire for
political change. She has also recently started a project on the
impact of foundation funding on social movements and is exploring
opportunities to expand her research agenda to include comparative
work on Germany. |
