>> Annual Reports and Response from the Trustees

Response of the Trustees to the Committee's Recommendations for the 2003-2004 Proxy Season:

•  The Trustees decided not to vote in favor of a resolution for a report on waste storage at nuclear plants at General Electric, as they were concerned that individuals or organizations that pose a threat to the country would be able to access this information and mis-use it.

•  The Trustees decided not to vote in favor of a resolution for General Electric to disclose the costs of the PCB clean-up, as they would like more information, especially from some of the Barnard professors who have researched this topic before voting on it.

•  The resolution at Wal-Mart has not yet been voted on.

•  The Trustees decided to vote in favor of a resolution for an annual report to shareholders on political donations by Pfizer.

•  The Trustees thanked the Committee for its work, but requested that in the future the Committee provide them with copies of its Report, the IRRC reports, and the company's response to resolutions the Committee supports in advance of the presentation.
