For students, your Columbia UNI (University Network Identification) and Barnard username are the same thing. A UNI is a unique identifier, consisting of two or three initials and an arbitrary number (e.g. abc1234) created using a university-wide formula. At this time, it is not possible to change these identifiers. Please note that your Barnard password can differ from your Columbia password. You initially receive your Barnard password, which can changed, and you can create a Columbia password.
You must first Activate your Columbia UNI before accessing the below services. Use your UNI and corresponding password.
If you are unable to activate your UNI or need to reset the password for this account, please contact Columbia University Information Technology (CUIT).
