Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. eBear is a set of secure, web-based applications which allows Barnard faculty, students, and administrators to access internal online resources not available to the general public. eBear applications are personalized to present each user with unique and relevant academic, administrative and support resources.
Accessing eBear
If you have not yet done so, please Activate your Barnard Account. Once you activate your account and receive your Barnard username and password, you can log in to eBear.
If you have trouble accessing your eBear account with the username and password given to you, please refer to our eBear troubleshooting tips.
Changing Your Barnard eBear/gBear Password
Once you set up your eBear account, be sure to change your password to a secure, but easy-for-you-to-remember password. We also suggest changing it every 6 - 12 months.

If you have forgotten your password, or for some other reason are locked out of your eBear/gBear account, please contact us and we will reset your password for you. This process can only be done during Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 5pm and you will have to speak with our administrator.
