Weather Update
Due to the storm, Barnard College closed at 4pm Friday, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.
Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information.
The Barnard Library and Archives closed at 4pm Friday and will remain closed on Saturday, Feb. 9. The Library will resume regular hours on Sunday opening at 10am.
Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed. The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open. Color Printing
Unfortunately, there is no free color printing at Barnard. However, you can make arrangements to print color documents with Print Services.
Photocopying
Barnard students do not have access to free photocopiers. The Barnard Library has a photocopier on the first floor and takes Flex for payment. All of Columbia's libraries have photocopiers; some are coin-operated and others take Flex. Visit the Columbia Libraries site for more information.
You may note that the scanning stations and NINJa printers in the Student Computing Center can be used to create black-and-white copies.
Checking Print Quota
You can check how many weekly and semester pages remain in your print quota here.
Double-Sided Printing
On Dell lab computers, printing double-sided can be achieved by selecting the desired printer with (Double Sided) to the right of its name. Alternatively, single-sided documents should be printed by selecting a printer with the (Single Sided) notation.
On Mac lab computers, select the desired printer from the Printer menu. In the Presets menu, select either Double Sided or Single Sided.
