Weather Update

Due to the storm, Barnard College will close at 4pm today, for non-essential personnel. “Essential personnel" include staff in Facilities, Public Safety and Residence Halls.  

Friday evening and weekend classes are cancelled but events are going forward as planned unless otherwise noted. The Athena Film Festival programs are also scheduled to go forward as planned but please check http://athenafilmfestival.com/ for the latest information. 

Please be advised that due to the conditions, certain entrances to campus may be closed.  The main gate at 117th Street & Broadway will remain open.  For further updates on college operations, please check this website, call the College Emergency Information Line 212-854-1002 or check AM radio station 1010WINS.

Hayden M. Greene is the Director of Leadership Development. He has been with Barnard since Fall 2008. Hayden coordinates the Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) and he supervises the Leadership Lunches, the Forum, First Year Programming, and the Diana Desk Staff. Hayden also advises the First Year and Sophomore Class Councils.  He is a Brooklyn resident and is a true 'Barnard Man'! He loves photography, movies, and music.Jessica Robles

Jessica Robles earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Psychology in May 2010 from Hofstra University. She credits her extracurricular experiences at Hofstra with providing the foundation for a career in student affairs. She loves the curiosity and energy of college students, and hopes to assist students in reaching their full potential. Currently, Jessica attends Teachers College, Columbia University. She is a candidate for a master’s degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education. She is passionate about reproductive health issues, women’s empowerment, non-fiction books, cooking, pilates, and belly dancing.
