The hub
of student life is McIntosh Center, with its coffee bar, music
practice rooms, and headquarters for many student groups.
Annually, student organizations and the college sponsor hundreds
of lectures and readings, concerts, recitals, plays and films.
Some events have become Barnard traditions, such as Midnight
Breakfast, Springfest, and the Founder's Day Street festival.
