Every Tuesday at 6:30 PM in Well-Woman
Our peer educators offer both group and individual GYN education sessions in the comfort of the Well-Woman office. Come learn the basics about how women’s health clinicians at Barnard do a gynecological (pelvic) exam, including what tests they perform, what they feel for and look for, and what sorts of questions they ask. Find out what BC Health Service provides, including birth control options, Plan B, the HPV vaccine, and other STI testing.
Learn about how your body looks and works and discover how to support your own gynecological, reproductive, and sexual wellness. We recommend our GYN education sessions for students anticipating their first ever GYN exam, and for those who just want to learn and talk more about their own bodies in a supportive, peer-facilitated environment. Stop by!
