Marisa Mabli is a social worker who has worked as an individual and group therapist, a supervisor and administrator, and an educator. She has provided services for adults, adolescents, couples and families struggling with and impacted by substance misuse and abuse. Ms. Mabli's career has also included extensive work with women, adolescents, homeless adults and families, and young children. Ms. Mabli’s work is done through a feminist lens and includes principles of mindfulness.
Prior to joining, Ms. Mabli was a full time Lecturer at CUNY Kingsborough Community College, teaching courses in the Substance Abuse Counseling Program. She has also been the director of an outpatient addiction treatment facility in Brooklyn, NY. Ms. Mabli obtained her MSW at Simmons College and her BA in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary at SUNY Stony Brook. She also holds a post-graduate certificate in Spirituality and Social Work.
