Barnard College/Columbia University and Spelman College/Howard University has set up a formal agreement in which there is a study exchange between the institutions. Barnard/CU students may spend a semester or a full academic year studying at Spelman or Howard. The program is designed for juniors; however, sophomores may be considered on a case by case basis. Students must have a minimum cumulative g.p.a of 2.8 and may not have a record of disciplinary action. Students participating in the exchange must live in the college's residence halls.
