Forgotten Barnard Password

First Year Students:

If you are a first year student and you have not yet set your initial Barnard password for your Barnard account, please visit the New Student Information Page and follow the instructions to activate your Barnard account.

If you have previously set up your Self-Service questions to reset your password, you can reset your password on your own by visiting password.barnard.edu.

Returning Students:

If you are a returning student, and you have not setup Self Service questions to reset your password on your own, you will have to have your password reset in the Student Computing office located in room 307 Diana Center. 

If you have previously set up your Self-Service questions to reset your password, you can reset your password on your own by visiting password.barnard.edu.

The Student Computing office is located in 307 Diana, please come with your Barnard ID and a supervisor will reset your password for you. This process can only be done by a Supervisor Mondays - Fridays, 9am - 5pm.

Tip for all students:

Remember that passwords are case-sensitive and that the digit 1 can look like the lowercase letter L as well as the digit 0 can appear to be a capital letter O.
