Spring Club ReFuel

All student groups that wish to program on the Barnard campus and/or have financial accounts at Barnard that either need to make up their attendance or have changed leadership since the Fall 2017 semester, must send up to two executive officers to attend the make-up session. The executive officers that attend will be granted access to the VEMS space reservation system at Barnard.

There will be only one make-up session for Club ReFuel at Barnard on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 4:00-5:00pm in the Lehman Auditorium, Altschul 202. Please register here for the Spring 2018 Club ReFUEL make-up session.

Spring Activities Fair

The Spring Activities Fair at Barnard will take place on Monday, January 29th from 12:00-3:00pm in the Event Oval to allow new, transfer, and returning students the opportunity to check out all of the recognized clubs available to students.

All GBB recognized groups, SGA, McAC, The Bulletin, the Clay Collective, and Skip-Stop will be able to register for the Activities Fair at Barnard. Student groups may need to share a 6’ table. Please plan your decorations and volunteers accordingly. You must provide all of your own materials, including tablecloths and signs. Please be respectful of others and your tabling neighbors, with particular attention to music volume, obtrusive signage, and use of space. Any student or group who is disruptive or violates community codes of conduct will be asked to leave.

To register, clubs should complete this form at their earliest convenience so that we can reserve tables. The deadline to complete the form is Thursday, January 25th by 5:00pm. If you have any questions regarding student club registration please email: clubadvisors@barnard.edu or gbb@barnard.edu.

Fall Club ReFuel

Club ReFuel will occur as two, campus specific programs at Columbia and Barnard. This year, for GBB-recognized groups, we will combine Club ReFuel with Being Barnard Leaders, an annually hosted mandatory sexual assault and violence prevention training for student leaders. In the past, Being Barnard Leaders has been offered in the spring semester, but will now only be offered in the fall.

BARNARD: Attendance to one Barnard Club ReFuel/Being Barnard Leaders session is MANDATORY for all GBB recognized groups, SGA Rep Council and Class Councils, McAC Executive Board and Officers, Skip Stop, and the Bulletin.

For GBB-recognized groups, Skip Stop, and the Bulletin, all executive board members must attend ONE of three Club ReFuel/Being Barnard Leaders sessions that will be held during the second week of class.

For SGA and McAC: All Rep Council, Class Council, and Officers Council members are required to attend.

These three sessions are the only opportunity for student groups to complete this requirement. Student groups whose executive board members do not attend one of these sessions will not be able to access funds or reserve space on Barnard’s campus. To register, please complete this form by Wednesday, Sept. 6th at 11:59 pm. Each student leader must register individually for their Club ReFuel session.

If you have questions regarding Barnard Club ReFuel, please contact Emy Cardoza at ecardoza@barnard.edu or GBB gbb@barnard.edu.
