Employee Resource Groups

An Employee Resource Group (ERG) is a voluntary, employee-led group with the purpose of fostering inclusion & belonging at Barnard and in the surrounding community, supporting professional development, and serving as a resource for participants. Participation in ERG meetings and events are open to all currently employed Barnard staff and faculty.

Barnard’s current ERG groups are:

  • The Disability Employee Resource Group
  • The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and more (LGBTQ+) Employee Resource Group
  • The Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Employee Resource Group
