Early Decision

Class of 2022

Applicants who are admitted under Early Decision will receive a financial aid decision letter in mid-December if all necessary documents are received by the stated due dates.

Please realize that as an early decision applicant, you have a binding commitment to the college once you are admitted. Therefore, it is extremely important to submit the necessary forms by the due date. 
 
Documents to be submitted directly to the Financial Aid Office may be faxed to 212-280-8794 or mailed to the Financial Aid Office, 3009 Broadway, New York, NY 10027.  Please do not email tax documents--tax documents sent via email will not be accepted.  Barnard does not participate in College Board's Institutional Document Service (IDOC)
 
Federal Aid Only: Students who are not interested in applying for need-based Barnard College Grant aid, but would like to take advantage of U.S. Department of Education Federal Student Aid, including Federal Direct Stafford loans and the Federal Pell Grant, are not required to complete the CSS/Financial Aid PROFILE or the Noncustodial Profile.

College Scholarship Service (CSS) Financial Aid Profile Form. Available starting 10/01/17 for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Register for a Profile Application online at http://student.collegeboard.org.profile if you wish to apply for institutional financial aid, including a Barnard College Grant.  Indicate Barnard College (CSS Code Number is 2038) as the school to receive the PROFILE information.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).  Available starting 10/01/17 for the 2018-2019 academic year.  Barnard's FAFSA Code Number is 002708.  If you are admitted and plan to enroll and your file was selected for verification, you will receive a Verification Worksheet and instructions to request the IRS Tax Transcript .
