Rising-Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors

Eligible returning students take part in the Room Selection process in early spring to select a room for the following academic year. Students must be currently residing in on-campus housing (or have lived on-campus for the semester prior to leaving for an approved study abroad leave) in order to be eligible to take part in Room Selection.

Students who do not take part in Room Selection and wish later to apply for housing (or were not eligible to participate in Room Selection) should submit a Housing Application (PDF) no later than June 1. Priority will be given by submission date and distance from campus.

Please note that while Residential Life & Housing will make every effort to provide a room assignment, housing is not guaranteed for students who do not take part in the Room Selection process.

Note: even if you plan on living in CU Greek Housing, Special Interest Housing, applying for a Disability Housing Accommodation, being a RA- or ODS pull-in, etc.; you must submit the Return from Spring Study Abroad Housing Form (PDF), no later than March 1, in order to be eligible for housing.

If you do not have a Proxy select a room for you and wish later to apply for housing (or were not eligible to participate in Room Selection), please submit the Housing Application (PDF) no later than June 1 in order to be on the Non-Guaranteed Wait List. Housing for part-time students is not guaranteed.  Please note that part-time students will only be offered housing after all full-time enrolled applicants have been offered housing.  This means that, space permitting, assignments are not typically available until just before the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.

If you are living in housing for the Fall semester (as a full-time enrolled student) and will be enrolled part-time for the Spring, you will need to reapply for the Spring by submitting the application above by November 1.  You will need to be prepared to vacate your Fall room by the end of the Fall semester, as assignment may not be able to be confirmed until just before the start of the Spring semester.  Reassignment to your Fall space can be requested on your application, but may not be available due to the timing of assignments and cancelations.
