- Aetna Student Health Insurance Opt Out (This link will be active for new students entering Barnard for the first time in the Spring 2018 semester and for readmitted students on November 1, 2017.) Deadline: Although new/readmitted students may opt out as late as January 15, 2018, the College *strongly* cautions that, to avoid late payment fees, students must opt out before the Spring 2018 semester payment deadline.
