Clare Nash

Clare is a senior administrative assistant on the Advising & Programs team. She provides administrative support for the committee application process, the 4+1 pathways with Columbia University, and other department initiatives. Before coming to Barnard, Clare previously worked in administrative roles in nonprofit and higher education. She grew up in New York City, lives in Brooklyn, and has a BA in Classics.  

If you could speak to your college self, what advice would you give them? 

Less glitter. 

What was your first job? 

I spent a summer in high school working at a fast-casual salad establishment in Paris. I learned a lot about customer service and a little about salads. 

What is your favorite part of your job? 

I love learning new things from colleagues, students, and alums.
